Recently, I could not print a pdf file using 2017 Acrobat. It straight goes to recent open folder for saving the file even though I directed it to be printed in one of my printer. If I save file - that file cannot be printed for unknown file. However, I can print using Reader without any problem. I have re-installed Acrobat without luck. The problem stated a few months ago. It is a little fraustrating. I have to save the fike and then open with Reader to print. Any suggestion?

I could not print either on my printer or save as PDF using Acrobat. About month or two ago it started. But I can do that using Adobe Reader. If I try to print it stated you have to chage to using document font. I did that without luck. At this time I have to close Acrobat and open Reader to print.
What is happening?

I usually assemple the pdf files in Acrobat. The problem I have now does not happen often. It seems when the file get big after assembling - the problem starts. As you can see, individual groups are ok.

I am printing AutoCad drawings in PDF. They look good individually. I combined three groups of draings in one package the fonts become square. I will try to attach the package and and one group of drawings to illustrate the problem I am having. I have attched the package consists of P, M and E drawing. I have attachedP drawing set. You will see P drawing set is clean but total package has squares instead of letters. I send the drawings thinking I have clean set Can anybody help me what is happening. I packaged the set using Acrobat 2017.

Look at drawing number. i have attached a typical section. I printed each sheet from the cad drawings. Then I opened the first sheet. Next I inserted the next sheets. If in original folder the sheets are in sequesnce - I inserted them in bulk Once I have the package - I save with a new name for the package.

I printed CAD drawing in PDF and the fonts are OK. But when I packaged them in larger file the fonts change. I have attched two sheets. as you see in drawing drawing number is clear and the other one 3 is missing.
Why this is happening?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I tried in the GRID form. I can drag the picture to my preferred location. But, the picture will not stay there. It goes back previous location. I also tried slideshow without luck.

I am preparing a Slide show of my deceased daughter's Pictures.There are lots of pictures are digitized from prints, films and slides. I have tried to sort by capture date. But the capture date is when the the pictures are digitized. Is there a way to manually move the pictures as I see it fit? I know it can be done. But I forgot the procedure. I mostly post my questions in Adobe Light Room and Adobe Acrobat. If I click on Light room symbol it takes to the page LIght Room CC and that has two options. I am dealing with Light Room 2.7. Before CC if I click on Light Room it will take straight Light Room Forum. And then you try every options and it takes you back to the selection page. The suggestion to click on Content or Activity works. Unfortunately I have to learn this after posting on this page. Adobe used to be very User friendly programs. Now they are making it difficult. Adobe Acrobat if I turn the page it will ask me whether I want save the file. Now, You can rotate content but you will not rotate the page. That I have to do with another step. I had 2008 version of Acrobat that worked. However I had to buy newer version when I changed from XP to 7. Again, to find out where to post and and how to get back the responses is a frustrating experience. Now I know, and thanks to you all,How to go find the post or the page to post.

I had to recover files from a Hard drive. There are scanned pictures and when I tried to open these recovered files there is a dark cover over the pictures. The pictures showed up in the file folder icon. I opened the file in my Light room and it says the file is either non supported or corrupted. I had spend numerous hours to digitized old prints and negatives. I tried to attach a sample picture but I do not see any option for that. There used be an option for attachment. Any help will be appreciated. I am running Acrobat 2017. When I make a PDF from a drawing - I normally have to rotate the picture Clockwise or counter clock wise. Previously, I was using Acrobat 11 and when I try to save after rotation it use ask whether I want to save the file. Now in 2017 -it does not ask whether to save after Rotation. I even tried to save the file with a new name after Rotation - it will not save with correct rotation. It stays the same. What is the problem? Am I missing any upgrade that corrects this crazy situation? Ant help will be highly appreciated.

I could not De-activate the software. I went to help where it states activate and De-activate - it is not taking. The internet activation is working and the Phone activation is discontinued. I do not know where to go. .

I have recently migrated from XP to Windows 7. I had to re-install all software. I installed Acrobat 8 pro and added necessary serial number. However the software is not accepting the serial number. I tried three times. What are my options? An early response will be highly appreciated.

I have Light room 2.3. I am creating a slide show of pictures of 50 years and I want to make them as sequential as possible. If I pull up the pictures in light room - is there a way that I cam move the pictures one place to another place. Suppose I have picture that is no 20 in sequence and I want to move that Picture in the second place. Can I do that? if answer is yes, what is the procedure? I have Acrobat 8.1 Pro. The software has started me giving trouble stating it requires activation. I bought this software several years ago and I have original box with serial number. I have re-installed the software and entered the serial number. Whenever, I tried to make PDf from my AutoCad drawings - off and on it will not print stating the software requires activation. After repairing - the software will work for a week or so and then it will quit. There are times when I try to down load PDF files from the net - it will do the same thing. When I tried to register - it says we are unable to contact Adobe to register your product. Only thing, when I re-install the software - I did deactivate the software. I am afraid - I may not be able to re-install the software because of being older version. I am not sure Adobe will activate this older version. Can somebody advice me whether I could deactivate the software when removing it and I will be able to re-install the software and shall be able to activate 8.1 Pro? I do not want to spend $450 for Version XI. I need help. Thanks.

I am running Auto Cad 2008 and Adobe Acrobat 8.2 Professional. Off and on I could not make PDF from Auto Cad drawings. Once I repair the software - it will work for a month or so and then it will repeat the same.I have installed the software after removing it. During Making PDF from Auto Cad it will say Acrobat is not activated. I tried to activate ( I have serial No.) the screen will say 1. You may not be connected to Internet. 2. Make sure Java script is enabled to Browser. I do not have any problem of making PDF from Doc or excel files. Can somebody help me on this?
